In the artist's own words, "The natural world and my love for animals inspire my acrylic-on-canvas, mixed media paintings. I combine contrasting and complimentary colors, shapes and textures to create fun and sophisticated interpretations of horses and other animal spirits.

I also enjoy painting non-objective art that is just about colors and shapes. I like juxtaposing squares, rectangles and circles and employ all the available design elements to express rhythms, energy, moods and emotions."
