Art Connections Gallery is pleased to offer you a unique opportunity to be a part a project being executed by photographer David Johnson.  For details of this patronage program, read the letter below from David.

"Dear Friends, Family, and Colleagues,

As I write this letter, I’m reminded of how important our creative communities are and how grateful I am to have you in mine. Your continued interest and encouragement are felt and known, and it’s friends and colleagues like this that help us navigate life’s obstacles.

I’m excited to share some news about an upcoming project that I’m seeking your partnership to produce. I have been awarded a three-month Artist Residency this coming October through December at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris to focus on new creative research.

This residency comes at a welcomed moment in my artistic and professional career, having completed two long-term projects in the last three years, publishing Wig Heavier Than a Boot and It Can Be This Way Always: Images from the Kerrville Folk Festival as well as having works included in over a dozen exhibitions during the same time period.

To support this research and production of a new body of work I invite you to participate in my PATRON PRINT PROGRAM.

This program provides a special opportunity for you to be the first to select and collect limited edition Patron Prints created during the Paris Residency at a reduced price.

Below you will find the program outline; I welcome your questions, your support and your patronage.

With Gratitude,

Dave"

PRINT PATRON PROGRAM

ABOUT THE PARIS RESIDENCY

While in Paris a new body of work will be researched and created exploring the intended and unintended use of urban parks and public green spaces. By researching and photographing within some of Paris’ 400 public parks and gardens, David will consider questions centered around landscape architecture, placemaking, and the physical impact of travel, transience, and tourism.

SUPPORT THE PROJECT with PRE-PURCHASE OF LIMITED-EDITION PARIS PRINTS

When you participate in the Patron Print Program your pre-purchase of a Limited Edition prints afford David the ability to purchase and process medium format film including prints for proofing, purchase of additional production equipment, and supplemental research materials as needed.

PATRON PRINT PROGRAM DETAILS
